CURRICULUM
Historically and currently, curriculums of schools throughout the world focus on the Zone Of Tangible Experience. They rely on traditional sources of information which are usually produced within the nation or culture. Knowledge is built using materials and methods that already have a cultural imprint. What children see of the world comes through this cultural filter.

What SchoolNet Global can do so well is to provide a powerful vehicle for young learners to address the Zone of Conceptual Perception. Children around the world can share their understanding of local and global issues. In doing so, they can come to understand the similarities of peoples and issues around the world and they can learn to identify, understand and respect the differences.

The work of the school is not only to develop the two realms but to work to integrate them so that young people can all enjoy dual citizenship, that of their nation and that of the world. Moreover, the vision is to have children throughout the world, develop the ability to identify global issues and develop the skill and understanding to address them cooperatively.

The SchoolNet Global Curriculum is designed to fit easily into many national curriculums so that teachers throughout the world can utilize SchoolNet Global as a powerful tool in the every day activities of their classrooms and by so doing enhance the learning opportunities for their children and others throughout the world.
